What is Broadcast Faxing?

Broadcast faxing is the process of sending the same document to a large number of recipients simultaneously. It's a powerful tool for marketing campaigns, event invitations, press releases, or any situation where you need to distribute information widely and quickly.

Broadcast faxing saves time by sending one document to many recipients.

Note on Current Feature: FreeFax.Pro currently supports sending faxes one at a time. A dedicated multi-recipient broadcast feature is planned for the future. This guide shows you the most efficient way to send to multiple people using our current system.

How to Send a Fax to Multiple People (Step-by-Step)

The key to efficiency is the "Send Another Fax" button on the success screen, which re-populates your information.

Step 1: Send Your First Fax

Complete the entire faxing process for your first recipient. Fill in your details, the recipient's fax number, upload your document, select a cover sheet, and click "Send Fax".

Step 2: Use the "Send Another Fax" Button

After your fax is successfully sent, you will land on the Success Screen. Instead of starting from scratch, click the "Send Another Fax" button.

This action takes you back to the fax wizard.

Step 3: Your Information is Pre-filled

You'll notice that all of your sender information and the uploaded document are still in place. This is the time-saving step!

Step 4: Change Recipient and Send

All you need to do is:

  • Delete the previous recipient's fax number.
  • Enter the new recipient's fax number.
  • Proceed through the steps and send again.

Step 5: Repeat as Needed

Continue this process for each person on your recipient list. By using the "Send Another Fax" button, you only have to change one field for each subsequent fax.

Tips for Efficient Manual Broadcasting

  • Prepare Your List: Have a list of all recipient fax numbers ready in a separate document or window for easy copying and pasting.
  • Use a Generic Cover Sheet: If sending to many people, use a generic subject line and message on your cover sheet, or omit recipient-specific names.
  • Log In: If you are a registered user, all your sent faxes will be logged in your History page, making it easy to track which numbers you have already sent to.

Even without a one-click feature, sending to multiple recipients is straightforward.
